Our program plugs directly into Visa's network, using proprietary technology that automatically matches participating merchants' discount programs for veterans to users' verified veteran status. Verify your veteran status once, and use your Visa card to get the discounts you've earned with your service. You'll start to see hundreds of dollars in savings every month on your credit card bill, as you automatically participate in discount programs you didn't even know existed at the merchants you already shop with.

Is this too good to be true?

Nope! Thousands of merchants across the country already offer discount programs for veterans, but until now no one has built a simple and secure way to make sure you never miss out on the rewards you’ve already earned through your service. DiscountHeroes simply automates that process, so you never have to dig through your wallet to find your veteran ID, open a merchant application, present a coupon or QR code, or share your mobile number again, and you never miss out on another discount.

Do I need to carry a separate card to take advantage of the discounts?

No, simply use your existing Visa credit card activated on the DiscountHeroes platform to take advantage of the discounts. Our program is integrated into Visa's network, so you don't have to worry about carrying around a separate card or remembering to use a certain card at certain stores.

How do I know which merchants are participating in the program?

Our platform is constantly updated with new participating merchants, so the savings never stop! You can check our website or app to see the list of current participating merchants.

How do I verify my veteran status?

We securely verify your veteran status the first time you register. Simply provide us with the required information, and once we’ve verified your veteran status the first time you’ll never need to do it again. One registration – thousands of merchants. No more hassle to get the discounts you’ve already earned!

How will I know if I am receiving the discounts?

You decide how you like to be notified, but most people choose instant notification via text messaging. You'll start to see the savings on your monthly statement, and you can always check your account on our website or app to see the discounts that have been applied..

Can I use the DiscountHeroes program with other credit card companies?

Currently, the DiscountHeroes program is only available for Visa credit cards.

Is there a fee for using the DiscountHeroes program?

No, there is no fee for using the DiscountHeroes program. It's completely free for veterans to use. You’ve earned this!

1. Do I get the charitable deduction?

Yes, RoundUp amounts donated to nonprofits are eligible for tax deductions. By participating in the RoundUp feature on your VeteranCrowd Rewards credit card, you can contribute to charitable organizations and potentially receive a deduction on your taxes.

2. Will I get an accounting of my donations?

Yes. When you use the RoundUp feature on your VeteranCrowd Rewards credit card, you will have a running tally of your RoundUp transactions. This allows you to keep track of your donations as they accumulate. Additionally, at the end of each year, you will receive year-end statements that provide detailed information about your charitable contributions made through the RoundUp program.

3. Does RoundUp work at every merchant?

Yes, RoundUp works wherever Visa cards are accepted! Whether you're shopping at physical stores or making online purchases, as long as the merchant accepts Visa cards, you can use the Round Up feature on your VeteranCrowd Rewards credit card to make charitable contributions.

4. Where does the contribution come from?

Each time you make a purchase, we RoundUp the purchase to the next dollar or by an amount you select. These funds are drafted from your account and directed to the participating charity you designate and wish to support. By rounding up your purchases, you can effortlessly contribute to charitable causes that align with your values.

5. Do merchants match my donation?

Some merchants do elect to make matching donations to support participating charities when you RoundUp. This means that in addition to your own contribution, the merchant may also donate an amount equal to your RoundUp donation, effectively doubling the impact of your generosity. The availability of merchant matching may vary, so it's recommended to check with the specific merchants or refer to the program guidelines to determine if matching donations are offered.
